The ILAE British Branch Annual Scientific Meeting 2024 brought together epilepsy professionals in Liverpool to showcase the latest research and innovations. The ILAE (International League Against Epilepsy) plays an important role in advancing knowledge and improving care for people affected by epilepsy.

This year, the conference highlighted pregnancy and epilepsy. Dr Rebecca Bromley, Matthew Bluett-Duncan, Ngawai Moss, and Annee Amjad from the Epilepsy Research Institute were proud to represent and highlight themes central to the EpiSafe research programme, which focuses on improving outcomes for women with epilepsy and their children.

As awareness of pregnancy and epilepsy grows within the epilepsy research community, platforms like this provide an opportunity to share learning, foster collaboration, and drive forward advancements in care and understanding.
