EpiSafe Advisory Group in Action

Throughout 2025, the EpiSafe PPIE Advisory Group has continued to play an important role in shaping the programme.

Members have contributed lived experience and practical insight across a wide range of activities, including reviewing patient-facing materials, informing ethics and confidentiality processes, contributing to health economics discussions, supporting training video development, and feeding into the new ICH draft guideline E21 on the inclusion of pregnant and breastfeeding individuals in clinical trials.

This work helps ensure that EpiSafe remains grounded in the real experiences, priorities and needs of women with epilepsy, including during pregnancy and beyond.
